The wall behind the kitchen stove is a major source of grease and grime. Our precast terrazzo wall panels are installed as a single slab extending to the bottom of the wall cabinets, with no gaps, making it easy to wipe away grease. A customer in Foshan installed terrazzo walls in his open kitchen, paired with white cabinets. He said, "After each meal, I just spray some detergent and wipe it down-it's so convenient!" It has excellent high-temperature resistance, so it won't deform or crack due to high temperatures when used near the stove. The single-piece precast installation minimizes gaps, preventing grease buildup and ensuring both aesthetics and hygiene. We recommend a height of 600mm (from stove to range hood) or full height. The thickness is 12mm, with a high-gloss or matte finish (high-gloss is easier to clean). Darker, grease-resistant aggregates are available, such as black with white pebbles, which don't show dirt easily. We can pre-install socket holes and gas pipe holes. Colors can be chosen to coordinate with the countertop and floor. We provide drilling drawings. We send free samples for you to test with soy sauce at home. Q: Can terrazzo walls withstand hot oil splatter?
A: Yes. The surface is heat-resistant up to 200℃. Hot oil splatter can be wiped off without leaving a mark.
Q: Will it absorb oil fumes and change color over time?
A: No. The surface has a dense sealing layer, so oil fumes only adhere to the surface. A strong degreaser can restore its appearance. Deep cleaning is recommended every six months.
Q: Can it be directly applied to old tiles?
A: Yes. Roughen the old tile surface and apply a thin layer with tile adhesive. No need to remove the tiles, saving time and labor.
