The walls surrounding a fireplace need to be heat-resistant and textured. Our precast terrazzo fireplace walls are heat-resistant up to 300℃, suitable for real fire, electric, and alcohol fireplaces, and specifically designed for high-temperature environments around fireplaces. A villa owner in Nanjing installed dark gray terrazzo around their living room fireplace, using shimmering glass shards as aggregate, which sparkles in the firelight, creating a very sophisticated look. We recommend using a full-wall background wall, at least 50cm wider than the fireplace, for a substantial feel and natural texture, enhancing the overall style and warm atmosphere of the living room, combining decorative appeal with safety. The wall is 15mm thick with a heat-insulating layer on the back. The matte surface prevents glare and ensures a smooth viewing experience. Custom arched frames are available. Heat-resistant natural stone can be selected as the aggregate. Darker colors are more resistant to smoke. We provide heat resistance test reports. Engraving is also supported. Q: Will the flame from a real fireplace directly heat the terrazzo?
A: Don't let the flame directly heat the terrazzo. Radiant heat is fine. If sparks from wood fall on it, wipe them off immediately.
Q: Do I need an insulation layer?
A: We recommend it. We apply aluminum foil insulation film or hang calcium silicate board on the back.
Q: Can I have a fireplace mantel?
A: Yes. It can be integrated with the wall, using an L-shaped corner.
