Industry Trends of Terrazzo Special Surface Treatment

In the field of architectural decoration, terrazzo is a classic decorative material. In recent years, its special surface treatment technology is showing many remarkable development trends.

First, the trend of environmental protection is becoming more and more obvious. With the continuous enhancement of people's environmental awareness, the requirements for the environmental performance of building materials are getting higher and higher. In terms of special surface treatment of terrazzo, more and more companies are beginning to adopt environmentally friendly treatment agents and processes. For example, the development of solvent-free wear-resistant coatings can not only effectively improve the hardness and wear resistance of the terrazzo surface, but also will not release harmful substances, which meets the increasingly stringent environmental protection standards.

Secondly, personalized customization is very popular. Consumers are no longer satisfied with the stereotyped appearance of terrazzo, but hope to have a unique decorative effect that reflects their own taste. This has prompted the continuous innovation of terrazzo special surface treatment technology in terms of patterns and colors. Through advanced printing, etching and other technologies, various exquisite patterns and rich colors can be presented on the terrazzo surface to achieve personalized customization needs.

Furthermore, the performance optimization trend of high wear resistance and easy cleaning is significant. In some public places and commercial areas, terrazzo floors need to withstand frequent movement and friction. Therefore, it is crucial to improve the wear resistance of terrazzo surfaces. At the same time, in order to maintain a good use environment, easy-to-clean properties have also become a research focus. New surface treatment processes can make terrazzo surfaces smoother, stains less likely to adhere, and cleaning more convenient and quicker on the basis of enhancing hardness.

In short, the development trend of the terrazzo special surface treatment industry in terms of environmental protection, personalized customization, high wear resistance and easy cleaning will promote continuous innovation and development in this field, and bring more possibilities and value to the architectural decoration industry.
